THE FMLA - as told by FMF

The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women's
equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. In all spheres, FMF utilizes research and action to empower women
economically, socially, and politically. Our organization believes that feminists - both women and men - who believe in
women's equality are the majority, but this majority must be empowered. The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) is
committed to training the next generation of pro-choice leaders. To do this we help student activists start campus groups
called Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances (FMLA). These Leadership Alliances are a nationwide network of pro-choice
feminist activists on over 80 campuses in 22 states. These Alliances constitute a nationwide network of feminist campus
groups with support from the national movement and feminist activists. The Leadership Alliances collectively participate
in nationwide campus campaigns around feminist issues. To learn more about the FMF and how to start a Leadership
Alliance on your campus go to www.feministcampus.org
