THE FMLA - as told by FMF
The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women's equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. In all spheres, FMF utilizes research and action to empower women economically, socially, and politically. Our organization believes that feminists - both women and men - who believe in women's equality are the majority, but this majority must be empowered. The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) is committed to training the next generation of pro-choice leaders. To do this we help student activists start campus groups called Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances (FMLA). These Leadership Alliances are a nationwide network of pro-choice feminist activists on over 80 campuses in 22 states. These Alliances constitute a nationwide network of feminist campus groups with support from the national movement and feminist activists. The Leadership Alliances collectively participate in nationwide campus campaigns around feminist issues.
